4 February 2026 — Chinese New Year symbolises fresh beginnings, renewal and hope for the future. However, for many underprivileged communities, these simple joys can feel out of reach. Through Mega Fortris Community Outreach Initiative, in partnership with Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK), food provisions were distributed to share the spirit of the season, aiming to bring hope, support and warmth to the urban poor, homeless and marginalised communities.

Equipped with experiences from previous community outreach activities, this initiative was smoothly carried out by 15 dedicated volunteers from Mega Fortris, who came together to contribute to the programme. All provisions consisting of perishable dry food supplies were safely collected from KSK’s centre in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur and successfully delivered to the distribution point in Program Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) of Desa Rejang, Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, which was then distributed to 15 underprivileged families.
