15 May 2026 — Mega Fortris successfully launched its Community Outreach Mini Library initiative at SJK (C) Poi Min on Friday, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The event was attended by Yang Berhormat Ng Sze Han, Selangor State Executive Councillor for Investment, Trade and Mobility, alongside Mr William Pang, Chairman of the Board of Governors (BOG), Ms Lim Bee Eng, President of PIBG, and members of PIBG.
The project focused on transforming the school’s waiting area into a sharing space, as well as a mini library designed to encourage reading and continuous learning among students. The space was created to provide students with a productive environment where they can spend time meaningfully while waiting after school.
The concept behind the initiative was inspired by two common community needs: students lacking a conducive waiting space after school, while many families have unused children’s books at home. By encouraging the reuse and sharing of books, the initiative gives pre-loved educational materials a renewed purpose while creating a welcoming learning environment for students.
Mega Fortris believes that investing in learning environments today helps shape stronger, smarter, and more resilient generations tomorrow. Beyond supporting education, the initiative also promotes sustainability by reducing waste, extending the life cycle of books, and nurturing environmental awareness through responsible reuse practices.
This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education as Mega Fortris continues to dedicate itself to creating long-term positive value for communities through education and sustainable practices.
The newly launched mini library now serves as a place where students can pause, read, learn, and grow, proving that even small spaces can create meaningful impact within a community.
